Originally from the Philippines, Lea Basalo is the calm presence you didn’t know your salon experience needed. Quiet, observant, and endlessly dedicated, she brings six years of hands-on experience to UNIK, with five years in the Philippines and one in the UAE.

Lea began her career at David’s Salon, where she learned the foundations of client care and the power of precision. Though soft-spoken, she’s deeply passionate about her craft and always striving to grow. Her current focus? Perfecting the art of hair and colour, while already making waves with her work in brows and lashes.

What sets Lea apart is her ability to create a peaceful, trust-filled atmosphere. Clients often come in unsure and leave glowing, not just because of the results, but because they feel truly looked after. For Lea, that’s the biggest win.

Her go-to product is a good hydrating conditioner, and she swears by heat protection as a must-have for healthy hair. Her motto? Beauty begins within. And it shows in the care she gives, the calm she brings, and the quiet confidence that defines her work.
