Born and raised in Sweden with Serbian heritage, Vesna Ivetic has been immersed in the hair industry since the age of 15, when she first enrolled in hairdressing school. Now co-founder and operational manager of UNIK, she brings over two decades of hands-on experience, industry insight, and a kind, easy-going energy that clients and colleagues love.

Vesna’s passion lies in soft, natural color, classic foils, timeless cuts, and lived-in blondes that are low-maintenance but always high-impact. Her signature approach blends Scandinavian simplicity with deep technical knowledge, and she’s a strong believer that healthy hair starts with great home care. Hydrating treatments, regular toners, and trims are non-negotiables, especially in Dubai’s climate.

Early in her Dubai career, Vesna won the region’s first L’Oréal Colour Trophy, and though she’s dabbled in shoots and education, her heart has always belonged to the salon floor. For her, hairdressing is more than a service. It’s a shared journey. She loves building trust, walking clients through the “why” behind every choice, and making sure they feel completely comfortable and cared for.

Her must-haves? Heat protection, a water filter, and the same texturising scissors she’s used since hair school are proof that the classics never go out of style.
